Canadian Espoir Synchronized Swimming Championships
Tier 6 Canadian National Results

Laurel Alexander's Tier 6 team couldn't have been happier with their performance at Tier 6 Nationals held at the Harry Bailey Centre in Saskatoon, June 1-4, 2005.

This is the first year for 7 of the 10 girls on the team, to have competed, at this level.  The team not only beat the odds of getting past 19 of 29 teams in the preliminary round to place 10th.  This is the last spot that moves forward to the final round. 

Up for the challenge the girls not only performed without flinching, they moved up 2 spots to finish 8th place in the final Championship score.  More impressive is that they placed 7th in routine score.

On another note a first year duet, Samantha McDonald & Courtney Hiebert place 14th in Duet Championship, and placed 12th in routine score.  McDonald and Hiebert were pleased with their results and are already looking forward to next years duet.

We are all very proud of everyone's accomplishments this year.
