Aquabelles Swimmer Represents Canada
Emily Brooks Makes the Final Cut for Synchro Canada's 13-15 National
Team
July 20, 2005
The Calgary Aquabelles are proud to announce that Emily Brooks has been selected
to swim on Synchro Canada's 13-15 National Team.
Brooks finished 11th, out of 11 to qualify, at the team trials held at Tier
6 Nationals held in Saskatoon in June. On July 19, 2005 Brooks placed in
the top 7 of the final team selection process, on a team of 8 swimmers. Guaranteeing
her a spot.
Brooks is extremely happy with her performance and is looking forward to
representing Canada at the Comen Cup on August 4-7 in Athens, Greece.
Brooks' countless hours of training at the Talisman Centre has proven to
paid off. She is an inspiration to all Canadian's, Albertan's, Calgarians and most of all to her sister athletes at the Calgary Aquabelles.
This success and the many before it, is at testament to the outstanding
coaching skills the club has been privileged to have currently and in the
past.
Any questions regarding this, please contact the
Aquabelles Head Coach, Jenn Tregale. The Calgary
Aquabelles office phone number is 209-2941.
