Local radio hosts Chad and Fuzzy from Vibe 98.5 are competing in a series of challenges to win $10,000 to donate to charity.

The first challenge was the “Synchro or Swim” Challenge.

The Calgary Aquabelles invite you and your family to join us for our Year End Water Show.

Our Wildrose Teams will just be back from what is promising to be a successful Provincial competition and our National Age Group teams will be preparing to head for Nationals. Several of our Athletes will be trying out for the Canadian National B team, Junior National Team and the National 13-15 age group team.

This is a great opportunity to experience the progress that our athletes make as they achieve the skills and ability to move from Tier 1 through to Tier 7. We are very proud of our athletes’ and coaches’ accomplishments and hope you are able to attend. Prepare to be amazed and impressed!

Time: 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
Where: Talisman Centre – Main Pool

We will also be collecting food for the Calgary Food Bank at the event. We thank you in advance if you are able to bring a contribution.

Congratulations to Laurel Alexander, coach of the Calgary Aquabelles Tier 7 Junior Team, who has been selected as the assistant coach of Synchro Canada’s National 13-15 Team.

Laurel will be coaching with Chantal Vallieries of Synchro Elite and Vanessa Bray of the Edmonton Auroras.

This appointment confirms the strength and dedication of the Aquabelles coaches and their program of excellence.

They will be putting together the aged 13-15 National team who will be competing at the UANA Pan-American Synchronized Swimming Championships this summer from August 27-31 at the Talisman Centre in Calgary.
